Locums Gastroenterology Need in Illinois
Coverage Needed
- ASAP - ongoing

15 - 2 Weeks per month
- 3-4 days of coverage
Schedule
- Part time
- Flexible with days
- Inpatient call coverage and rounding (approx 3-4 days per week)
Clinical Details
- Procedures:
Colonoscopy/ EGD - Inpatient
- The other GI physicians recognize that there will be a need for patient handoff
- Work solo
- 100% adults
- No advanced procedures required such as EUS & ERCP
Requirements
- Board Certified/ Board Eligible
- DEA
- Active IL License
- Minimum # years
Experience:
1 - ACLS, BLS
- CSR
- Required to do colonoscopies/EGD
Call
- In house 4-6 hours then be on call
- Call can be taken from hotel
- Telephone
- One group and several independent GI physicians who will be sharing call
- Consists of taking GI consults for the assigned day of call and following them through their inpatient stay
