POSITION
Summary:
The Security Officer functions in an unarmed security post for OSF HealthCare campuses.
Security officers are responsible for the safety and security within OSF HealthCare campuses by conducting unarmed patrol, monitoring alarm systems, assisting in investigations, and deterring criminal activity and misconduct.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED
Qualifications:
High School/GED Current State Drivers Licenses BLS (American Heart Association) certification within 90 days of hire International Association for Healthcare Safety and Security Certified Healthcare Security Officer (CHSO) within 1 year of hire.
National Incident Management System (NIMS) within 1 year of hire.
LCMMC:
Active FOID Card Service with a police department or active military, military reserves, or National Guard, and/or 1 year security experience or customer service.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Associate's degree Service with a police department or active military, military reserves, or National Guard, and/or 3 years security experience.
International Association for Healthcare Safety and Security Certified Healthcare Security Officer (CHSO) Advanced Certification Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
