Summary:
The Physician Assistant (PA) works In accordance with professional standards of care and adhering to corporate philosophy of OSF, and is responsible for providing high quality patient care to the patients of OSF OnCall Urgent Care.
The PA maintains the consistency and quality of all services provided; full and current patient medical records, including reports of all examinations, procedures; and other services performed by the provider or other support staff.
The PA exercises diligence in assisting in keeping costs of the practice to a minimum while maintaining a high level of quality care for patients.
Providing a truly personalized, patient-centric experience to all patients of OSF OnCall Urgent Care.

Education:
Master of Science in Nursing or Master of Physician Assistant Studies License/Certifications:
PHYA Physician Assistant IL Controlled Substance License DEA BLS/ALS PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Experience:
Knowledge of national medical best practices within an urgent care setting.
Knowledge of communication skills with ability to listen actively and respond to fellow employees/customers in a timely, competent manner both verbally and non-verbally.
Knowledge of and skill in the use of personal computers and related systems and software.
Knowledge of department policies and established confidentiality policies.
Skill in effective interpersonal, oral, and written communications including grammar and spelling.
Proven ability to work independently, efficiently under pressure, and take initiative when neededOSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
