Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)Instructional ABA Consultants (IABA) of Oak Lawn is looking to hire a full-time Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to help autistic children in the Oak Lawn/Southside Chicago area.

This Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position earns a competitive salary of $75,000.
00 to $80,000.
00/year plus a sign-on bonus along with a performance-based annual increase program rooted in our science.

BCBAs at IABA has a monthly aim of (85-95 in-home/clinic) and supervise all RBT hours 15% of the time.
Additionally, IABA quantifies crisis cases to allow for 20% supervision and reimburses our RBTs at a higher rate during these sessions.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BOARD-CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST (BCBA)As a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, you play a fundamental role in our practice.
You will develop research-based and individualized behavior analytical programming for children with autism.
Your caseload includes a variety of ages, repertoires, and funding source requirements.
You will complete assessments and write treatment plans.
To ensure progress, you make data-based program change decisions on a weekly basis.
You will also develop, implement, and monitor parent goals and provide monthly parent training.
As you administer initial and ongoing assessments under supervision, you gain mastery of a variety of protocols, such as ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, and Vineland.
You will write treatment plans based on the results of assessments that effectively target short- and long-term goals, generalization, and community integration.
You also work in partnership with the families you serve and other service providers.
Weekly, you supervise graduate-level interns and train Registered Behavior Technicians.
You will also collaborate on a weekly basis with our team of BCBAs to create an environment of ongoing professional development.
Related activities include a peer program review, a human rights committee, reviewing the literature, ethical discussions, and case consultations.
You find working with individuals with autism in this collaborative environment to be highly rewarding!QUALIFICATIONS FOR A BOARD-CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST (BCBA) Master's degree in applied behavior analysis (ABA) Credentialed as a BCBA by the BACB, retaining the appropriate membership certifications Familiarity with applied behavior analysis methodologies including functional behavior assessments, discrete trial training, verbal behavior analysis, incidental teaching, shaping, chaining, modeling, imitation, task analyses, motivational methodologies, and reinforcement practices Strong assessment and treatment-planning skills Ability to work with challenging behavior Valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check Passion to create a sustainable change One or more years of experience working with children with autism is preferred but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.
